This is a fan-created website for the purpose of informing and exciting fans for Alien: Covenant's release. But thats not really a meaningful assertion because long range weaponry (especially advanced energy weapons) trumps hand to hand combat every time, and we've only ever seen the Engineer engage in what is basically hand to hand combat.Now say if it were only hand to hand combat, with the Engineer wearing his biosuit and the predator wearing his armour (but minus the shoulder mounted energy weapon and his forearm mounted extending blades) I would actually say the Engineer would win, because just going from eye, they seem physically much larger and stronger than the predators.The engineer when woken (and we assume slightly dazed/groggy and maybe malnourished from very long cryosleep) is easily able to dispatch a group of humans (some of whom are armed) within seconds, it has the strength to lift an android and tear off its head, throw humans across the room, and pry open airlock doors.While Predators (and I include both the 'large' and 'small' predators from the two different clans) can lift humans, and are capable of dispatching a human in hand-to-hand combat, they do not seem to do these things with the same ease the engineer did. 99% Upvoted.
