Rockford Park District staff checks the ice on a daily basis and posts whether the lagoon is open or closed. Our public skate sessions are great for family and friends to come have a good time on the ice together, and it may just get you excited enough to take part in our skating and hockey programs. The Rockford Park District operates two skating facilities, The rinks are open for regular public skate sessions, and figure skating and hockey lessons are offered for ages two through adult.
