Free meeting space can be booked in 20 libraries, with capacity ranging from five to 50 people. If the use of the room is cancelled within 48 hours of the meeting, a $25.00 administration fee will be retained by the library. Library programs have first priority for use of the meeting rooms.
Businesses may not charge people to attend. These rooms are available for educational, instructional, or civic programs when available. Maximum room capacities are listed in parenthesis. The library Meeting Room may not be reserved more than three months in advance of the requested use date. Groups may be asked to reschedule when a library program is planned. Event spaces are also available at Central Library. There are also purpose-specific rooms for music practice (Memorial Park) and creative studios (audio, video, and post-production) at Central Library. Meeting rooms for community organizations and other groups. Free Public Meeting Rooms Available. The public is welcome to attend all meetings, except those for which a fee is paid to the library. All meetings must be open to the public.

The rooms may not be used for purely social purposes which include but are not limited to private birthday parties, baby showers or entertainment.
