I'm also desperate to see the film and will definitely read more from this author. I really liked this book. I still would recommend this book to a wide variety of people and say it's worth reading just for the laughs. My daughter loves this, I don't know much about it, but my daughter raves about it so it must have gone down well. Whizzing through it, laughing my head off, falling in love with the characters, I was sure I would give it a 5 star review. I really enjoyed this book, I did not find it funny like other reviewers did. I was actually laughing out loud a lot of the time, which felt sort of strange given the subject matter....Greg's only real friend is Earl, a brilliantly drawn character from a very colourful family. Obsessed with film making, they start showing Rachel films they have made over the years to make her laugh, and it works. Something went wrong.

For such a sad story, the writer had me in stitches. i mean... the title rhymes, it can't be that bad The Perks of Being a Wallflower I can't believe I managed to finish the book at all since it took me over a week to finish the first couple of chapters since it was that boring.
