Buy Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Andrews, Jesse (ISBN: 9781419705328) from Amazon's Book Store. I was extremely disappointed. I'm also desperate to see the film and will definitely read more from this author. I really liked this book. I still would recommend this book to a wide variety of people and say it's worth reading just for the laughs. My daughter loves this, I don't know much about it, but my daughter raves about it so it must have gone down well. Whizzing through it, laughing my head off, falling in love with the characters, I was sure I would give it a 5 star review. I really enjoyed this book, I did not find it funny like other reviewers did. I was actually laughing out loud a lot of the time, which felt sort of strange given the subject matter....Greg's only real friend is Earl, a brilliantly drawn character from a very colourful family. Would highly recommend for a young adult novel.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 13, 2017 Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. And this worked great until his mum insisted he be a friend to Rachel, a fellow student recently diagnosed with leukemia. Obsessed with film making, they start showing Rachel films they have made over the years to make her laugh, and it works. Something went wrong.
I enjoyed this, can't really pinpoint what I liked as the story missed some depth. See reviews & details on a wide selection of Blu-ray & DVDs. Absolutely incredible We never really got to know her, but again, maybe that was the point. Good read. An interesting read though and one of those I now want my friends/family to read so I can talk about it with them and see what they think. It is not the best written book, but still worth a read. Very emotional and heartfelt, of a bond that would not have happened if it weren't for the circumstances at hand. It just felt rushed and brutal to me. Seriously funny. For such a sad story, the writer had me in stitches. i mean... the title rhymes, it can't be that bad The Perks of Being a Wallflower I can't believe I managed to finish the book at all since it took me over a week to finish the first couple of chapters since it was that boring.

His tactic was being marginally friends with all the 'clicks' but not really friends with anyone, in order to avoid being bullied or singled out. After all, Greg had been thrown into this strange situation where he felt obligated to be her friend and cheer her up. It is not the best written book, but still worth a read. I bought this book because I bought it. BUT I'm really happy with my drunken self because this book was awesome.
