Love this place brought my grandkids this summer for 4 days ended up staying an extra day. We were next to a full timer, but hardly ever saw them during our three day stay. You literally walk outside of their perimeters and you're by the beach. They are always full, so u would think a security guard position cud be feasible. We loved this campsite. By the way, all are within walking distance. Convenient beach access, the beach literally across the street. Restrooms were also clean and several in the park, conveniently located.
Additionally, our husbands forgot the orange and lemons needed for their nightly cocktail. Proximity to town, the beach, the rock are all good. Morro Bay Beach is directly across the street, but as with most state beach parks in California, your pets must be on leash. Overall, the facility is nice and it seems like all of the other RV parks there are comparable to each other.So rude! Away from the rock they are not allowed. The bathrooms and showers are rather dated, the water was only lukewarm, when I … I would definitely make a reservation as the park was quite full. Everything was very clean, including the showers. You can't go anywhere in the park without seeing the 3 stacks and the rock. The water was cold and they let the park know. Used to be great.
Great location. It’s a 12 minute drive and he’s got great deals for your firewood needs. Being just one of the "kids" my experience has been secondhand, thru my parents, aunt and uncle and grandparents, with the trailers, and I have extensive experience with the tent spots.Overall great experience! There are tons of amazing bike trails around the property. Welcome to Morro Bay, the Gibraltar of the Pacific. What I actually loved was that it's nice and quiet and has a chill vibe. You can walk over the dunes to the beach, walk/bike to town or out to the rock. The restrooms and laundry facilities are a little dated but you can't beat the location. Spent many Easter vacations here as a child. For the most part everyone was respectful about their noise level. Not bad at all. Overall the campground puts of a very relaxing aura and is a wonderful place to come and relax at. Depending on the fog, you may or may not have a clear view of Morro Rock.

Also, the wi-fi was deceit. Morro Bay is by far one of our top towns to stay in the US. Grounds are impeccably kept and spaces are a good size with picnic table and fire pit included! Tight, yet level spaces. I got a wheel barrow full of hard wood and a box of kindling for $20. Monthly rate is damn reasonable.You can't really go wrong at this place. Only thing different,… No issues with the TV reception, WiFi or any of the hook-ups. No gravel - dirt. Yes, the spots are close together, but we had no problems with privacy.
I will definitely be coming back next year and plan to stay for a long while.We usually stay at Morro Bay State Park Campground and book well in advance.

We would definitely stay here again.This is one of my favorite rv parks! We loved it!Bad customer service !!! Always love coming here but this time a lot of homeless have moved into area. A little north of Morro Bay is another beach, where dogs can run freely. Hope they consider, because it is a very nice, convenient place to camp. Stayed in room 239, the one bedroom luxury suite.
