They have great drinks and service. From start to finish, service was astonishingly good. Although I didn't try it, it looked amazing and the chunks of lobster were huge. Came across this gem when the BF and I were in beautiful Santa Barbara. My husband had the clam chowder which he said was good but his ceviche was a little dry.

That being said this restaurant is literally on the beach which is pretty nice. It's right next to a dog beach so you get to enjoy looking at cute dogs and the ocean while you wait.Great view, very little wait (we got lucky! It has the perfect backdrop of the beach and the food / drinks aren't bad either.I came back earlier this month, when we embarked on another NorCal road trip. We ended up there for an early dinner probably around 5ish but closer to 6. We were also hungry, and thankfully the Boathouse was right there!A tiny bit of drive to get to but so worth it. We waited around 30 minutes for outdoor seating, it's buuuusy on a Thursday evening right before sunset. You have to go there if you're visiting Santa Barbara. That was some amazing dinner.
