I havent even started about the drama, by which came down like the fury of a thousand suns (again imho) but I wont say much besides the fact that the drama (a little forced but seriously what drama isnt) is written well enough with good reason along with chracters that feel alive and not some 2D shite. All in all, if you're out of stuff to read and want to wrench your heart a bit with some drama or looking for a fantasy based novel (the world building is subtle but great) with a focus more on character development and interactions (sadly not too much action but I have a feeling author knows how to write em well) cuz of boredom, please give this one a go.If anyone wants to discuss things about anything send me a holler. The story might flare up your emotions as you progress your reading, with how bleak and depressing it can be.
This is a story of a man who has lost everything, who was broken, who tried to get up just to be put down again, who desperately try to find hope just to lose it again. This is a story about a man who lost everything.
Reading through the ending.. The story can't be said to have a good ending, but the man never stops trying.Wow, really amazing (in terms of light novels) it can stand up there with other bestselling novels (imho) outside the light novel demographic, heck I'd even recommend it to people whove never reas LNs before. This is a great novel. There is so much packed between the lines and I applaud the author for being coherent with what he has written down (something I find lacking in jp authors) and I greatly enjoy unpacking the little things the author wanted to convey. I have rarely enjoyed reading a story as much as I have enjoyed this one, starting on the anime I assumed it was gonna be another boring loli-warrior-harem anime, boy was I wrong.

In fact, for later volumes it is even a tinge fast, especially volume 4, but it avoids becoming an info drop. The translation quality is great (perfectly understandable, and easily readable), and it is one of those books, which if you start, you just simply can't put it down until the end.
There are no words to describe my feelings for this story. Beautiful yet laced with tragedy. At first glance it might seem kinda cliche, with all that loli-warrior-harem stuff, but actually it shows us a really cruel setting. 1533. It dosen't ignore the emotions from the past and it carries them over (mainly due to the fact that it isnt a 'restart'). I will update this review as the story progresses.Prepare to be depressed when a massive bombshell is dropped so early on (v1c5) The LN describes that those who are chosen as the Hero of Heroes (Main hero of Regular Brave) are people who had lead a miserable, tragic and horrible life. The MC also isn’t a overpowered badass like in other series, but he’s not a pushover either. Five hundred years have passed since the humans went extinct at the hands of the fearsome and mysterious 'Beasts.' I love it so much that that is all I can say. It’s a breath of fresh air to see a light novel that isn’t just a summary of the main character’s stats. tragedy. It is a good novel (as far I can see for now).
There he has to face his past and once again step forward. This is a real gem hidden amongst the piles of mediocre, average and occasional tr*sh story on Novel Updates. These elements of negativity are their driving will to live on.
