I used one of these off brand chargers for about a year before it finally gave out.

I do not use a keyboard or mouse with my surface, so I cannot rate that aspect. I am very pleased with this purchase.

What was a pleasant surprise is the much longer cords.

They were nice enough to replace the Surface for us otherwise we would have probably had to pay a hefty battery replacement bill. So far it is working great. After searching for a replacement at big box stores and not finding a suitable replacement, I decided to order online. So that’s perfect! Rated 3 out of 5 stars.

Sometimes I need a long cord, and other times not so much.

Works fine as long as plugged into Surface in one orientation, but if plugged in the other way, it has an intermittent circuit that prevents it from charging effectively. The long cord is also a plus. 2.9 5.
