A special mention for Amphitheater restaurant staff Johan Guzman bar tender Supervisor - Reiner Waiter - Adam Chef - Christopher Castillo Ramon - breakfast & lunch chef Plus others that I didn’t get names of , the front of house staff , the room staff , the gardeners , the shuttle staff ( had a great trip down to the gorgeous beach & visit to palace adjacent to hotel ) the great boutique staff who were so helpful ( lovely range of goods & plenty of souvenirs to take home . My husband told him to call his manager/supervisor here but the guy would not and starting speaking loudly. You would have to walk a mile uphill and pass a security check point to get in this place. You will see wildlife... macaw’s, all types of birds, iguanas and normally monkeys (although they apparently don’t like the heat and didn’t catch sight of them this time in March, but last time in December they were running around trees at beach). The hotel has a beautiful lemon grass aroma & they sell the toiletries here , ) Macaws seen from the balcony , masses of birds in the grounds & we were lucky enough to see an anteater one evening on our walk to the restaurant.
