The build itself took a couple hours. Recommend！ After reading some of the reviews on this laser engraver, i took a chance and bought it, Took me about 120 minutes total to download driver and software and installed them. For as cheap as it was I have been using the crap out of it. Make sure the set screws and belts are tight enough. I am a 100% disabled war vet, who dabbles in building guitars and other wood workings. They recognize you for your efforts and praise you for them.The owner of the company was an egotistical psychopath, who would call the engravers into meetings on Friday afternoons and berate us, and was once over heard saying, the only reason he did that was to ruin our weekends, and for no other reason than that.Fast paced, stressful but lots of hours.
Coworkers are always helpful.Great company to work for, many opportunities to learn new skills if you are self motivated. My wife will weave a basket onto it.
Pay is pretty low for what you are required to do, and getting compensated for being a great worker is nonexistent.I enjoyed working for the company. Not so with universal products!This is a very good machine for the money. In summary: good to very good quality clean drilled holes and threads, overall recommended.The machine works very well, based in the way how works machine and the instructions . For the price, this thing is amazing. The original laser head did fine on plastic, leather and wood, but it was was not able to work on metal as per my satisfaction. The instructions were mainly pictorial that were simple to follow. This was only a problem for shipping. I can honestly say I enjoy working here as the environment is fun, and a lot like a second family. It does give off a little burning smoke from wood, but its not the end of the world.
It worked great.. Driver setup when I told it to go out and automatically search for it. Engraving grayscale images takes a bit of research and practice to get the image just right.
Super easy assembly and set up. I did take some time to build some additional pieces, such as a raised stand to engrave thicker items, a square-centimeter grid sheet to simplify position and alignment, and a plastic opaque shield to protect curious eyes from the laser. Wow the ease of use, portability, and quality blows my mind! I will continue to work here until I retire, if they'll let me.
All parts were very fitting, I was also very pleasantly surprised that there was still a reserve for all small parts, if one loses one during assembly. There’s no two ways about it, it’s a great piece of equipment. It works well. Collected the machine, downloaded the program and launched. Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2016 So far so good. Divide between sales force/management & floor physically, a wall, and paywise.Enjoyed working there, good coworkers very friendly and the managers are very nice.
They hire whoever will apply and that is to keep starting wages low. Overall, for the price I would rate this 5 out of 5.
