Would recommend camping at the forks separating lake of the falls/landslide and doing day hikes to each (3 days/2 nights). Access to the lake wasn't possible for me as I didn't have snowshoes, but I saw others on the trail who brought some with them.
Definitely will be heading back to do another attempt when I have a few days. It would have been easy to stretch the trip out many more days as there were so many inviting spots to camp.Great hike!
Didn’t make it past 14km in due to the amount of snow. With a surface area of 754 acres and a maximum depth of 78 feet, Mukooda Lake has the physical and chemical characteristics needed to support lake trout. We felt very grateful for the flagging that guided us. We brought snowshoes based on comments from a couple weeks ago, and we were glad we did. Five Lakes. Users of these We were expecting 18km one way based on AllTrails. trespassing. Apparently a large group had stayed there the weekend before and left quite a bit of trash behind. Questions also arose about the continued presence of unclipped fish.

Do your best not to fall in because... it sucks!
Gators are useful for this, or take off your shoes. Channel catfish are abundant; moreover, angling an occasional catfish greater than 17 inches is quite likely. Another great thing about this trail is it seems like there's a great campsite at least every hour.
Features Public lands or parks within 1000 feet of the lake (2) Fish. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. It has a maximum depth of 23 feet. The creek crossing at the entrance to the valley was about knee high and flowing fast.
Beautiful views There was a tough river crossing, but other than that the trail wasn't too hard. lots of beautiful camping spots along the way and changes in scenery between dense forest and stony rivers/creeks along the way. It’s mostly flat terrain, with only a few hills.
