I think there is one thing to note of importance, regardless of what activity you choose, there is some sort of walking involved. The lodge not only provides job opportunities for members of its neighbouring towns: it also seeks to be a partner in the region’s development, setting it on a more sustainable path for the future.‶There are times and places in our travels when we wonder just how in the world they pulled it off. We were given a map, and Anderson explained all the activities but having a more detailed description of what to expect, walking or riding, length , etc,& being able to refer to it would have helped me. Super consigliato. Abbiamo passato due giorni immersi nella natura in pieno confort. The lodge has hiking paths, a small souvenir shop and free WiFi access. Their van picked us up at our hotel in Quito and it was about a 2 1/3-3 hour ride— bumpy street the end and a little windy if you get carsick. During our time here, we had 2 nights at Mashpi Lodge and we wish we could have stayed longer. Mashpi Lodge is one of those places…‶‶… we were enchanted. Your kind feedback is the perfect inspiration to keep improving. It’s not every day you can wake up in a Cloud Forest.
