They seem to have the same price but sf 2 look more convenientIt all depends on what you want really. From an optical standpoint the Surface Laptop 3 easily wins this competition, the brushed aluminium looks super sexy and the keyboard feels much better than on the Surface Laptop 2 . It really is nice and fast, I sometimes use Unity too and I never encountered any problems. You buy this laptop for the keyboard/experience and build quality.
I'm getting a 144Hz screen soon and I'm not sure if that's a good comparison?The 60 fps one looks blurry to me. Attention Surface Laptop 3 buyers: As indicated by prior posts the Alcantara model suffers from quite some keyboard flex, certainly not what I would call acceptable on a such premium device. Well, there are still minor imperfections.

However the display of the Laptop 3 is noticeable duller and less sharp than the Pro 7 display which itself looks truly stunning, all 3 displays employ similar max. Interestingly, while far from perfect the situation is significantly better on the aluminium model. But I think you might be seeing something else wrong with the screen and thinking it was a resolution thing. 512GB SSD, Radeon RX Vega 11 iGPU. Since the Surface Pro 7 has the same CPU without a fan, I’m curious as to how it runs in similar situations.Coil whine is somewhat present, coming from an XPS 13, it is definitely much better here, but it is still noticeable, albeit I need to listen hard.
