Three Southern women face difficult decisions about their family and community in this high-rated debut.A botched robbery sets two men on conflicting journeys across untamed landscape of the American West.A victim of Auschwitz finds he must confront his own horrific past in order to solve a series of murders being committed in 1987 Berlin.
There was no human interaction despite the alternate heroine being taken in by her lesbian sister and dirty-blonde partner, who spoke like an Okie circa 1950. So much was just left in the air, for example, I needed some sort of hint as to why the mother killed herself and this was a driving force to the story line. It is maybe one of the most no-nonsense novels I've ever read. By using our services, you agree to our use of cookies.

And no one has made more difficult choices than Olivia Grayson.
I loved this novel from start to end.
